The ties are made from 20mm cotton, which are sewn securely at the waist and fasten at the back; their ends being double folded for extra strength.
The halter strap is fixed left and right of the top of the apron.
If you find that the halter is too long and subsequently exposes a considerable portion of the child's upper clothing, simply run one of the side ties through the neck loop before knotting. This will automatically raise the bib of the apron up to the neck and provide added protection for your child's uniform from collar to approximately mid thigh.
